Letter from the Chapter

Dear Potential New Members,

The women of Sigma Kappa are so excited for the 2019 Formal Recruitment. We invite both current and future Horned Frogs to participate this fall. Recruitment is an exciting experience that can lead to forming friendships as well as memories that will last a lifetime. Although it may seem overwhelming at times, please remember that each member of our chapter was once in your shoes. After talking with the women in Sigma Kappa, I hope you feel comfortable and encouraged to be yourself in every way possible. We genuinely cannot wait to share with you the laughter and love that we experience in this sisterhood.

The purpose of Sigma Kappa is to unite its members through the shared values of friendship, loyalty, service, and personal growth. It is with this bond that we discovered sincere friendship that promotes the development of fine character through high standards of achievement - scholastically, socially, and spiritually.  We aim to make constructive contributions to the communities in which its collegiate and alumnae clubs are located by encouraging the exercise of the rights and obligations of good citizens and the support of worthwhile civic, social, and philanthropic projects.

In Sigma Kappa at TCU you will have the opportunity to participate in philanthropy events, attend socials and mixers, and become an active part of the TCU community. We all look forward to meeting you and cannot wait for Recruitment 2019!
